Damaged parcel
Document the parcel, label, protection and item, keep the packaging, and use the process linked to the transaction.
If the parcel arrives damaged, document the situation before discarding packaging or protective materials.
Where possible:
- photograph the outside of the parcel, the label and damaged areas;
- open it carefully and photograph the internal protection;
- document the condition of the item and accessories;
- keep the box, filler, label and anything that may help reconstruct the shipment;
- record the problem in the transaction or use the available support process before taking any action the screen describes as final closure;
- keep tracking, receipts and relevant communications.
Do not attempt repairs or dispose of materials before collecting the evidence needed for the applicable process.
