Disputes
A dispute may be relevant to reputation, but simply opening one is not described as an automatic penalty.
Disputes are distinct transaction events and may be relevant to the reputation system under the implemented rules.
Opening a dispute should not automatically be translated into a conclusion about either party's reputation. The available material does not define weights, automatic responsibility or scoring rules based solely on the fact that a dispute was opened.
To follow a dispute, submit evidence or check its outcome, use Safety, blocks and reports. For the meaning of Disputed status, use Purchases and sales.
This separation avoids confusing problem-resolution procedures with any later treatment of the event by the reputation system.
