Why rank can change

Rank may change when the relevant history considered by the reputation system changes.

The project explicitly connects transactions and related events with reputation. For example, the Help Center distinguishes completed transactions, cancellations and disputes because they may be relevant to scoring under the implemented rules.

Do not automatically attribute every change to one event or to a precise numeric effect: the available material does not define scoring weights.

To review a change:

1. check your current rank;
2. review recent transactions;
3. check any changes to displayed badges;
4. if the value appears inconsistent with recorded activity, see Technical issues.
