Payment

How to define terms, payment method, protection and transaction evidence before transferring money.

Before paying, make sure the conversation clearly records:

  • final price;
  • any shipping costs;
  • stated condition of the item;
  • known defects;
  • included accessories;
  • delivery method;
  • any specific terms agreed during the negotiation.

A generic statement such as “deal done” is less useful than a precise recap.

If an important element changes after the agreement, update it in the conversation before paying. A clear transaction starts with shared, verifiable terms.

Before sending money, make sure the payment method is understandable and that you can verify the transaction through the official service.

Consider:

  • the recipient’s identity;
  • costs and fees;
  • any buyer protection;
  • the terms and limits of that protection;
  • whether you can retain a receipt and transaction reference.

Do not assume that every electronic payment automatically includes purchase protection.

Whenever Muviber provides an official payment or protection flow for that specific transaction, use the process indicated by the platform.

Stop if the payment stage suddenly introduces a process different from the one you agreed.

For example:

  • a new recipient;
  • a link sent by chat or email;
  • a request to split payment without a clear reason;
  • an unexpected intermediary;
  • sudden urgency;
  • requests for codes, passwords or credentials.

This does not automatically prove fraud, but it changes the transaction and calls for independent verification before proceeding.

If anything is unclear, return to official channels and do not send money until you fully understand the process.

For an in-person purchase, agree on the location, price and payment method in advance. Once you meet the seller:

  1. verify that the item matches the listing;
  2. check the serial number and accessories where relevant;
  3. complete the agreed test;
  4. clarify any differences that emerge;
  5. pay only after deciding to complete the purchase.

Do not arrive feeling obliged to buy regardless of what you find. If the gear differs materially from the description, you can renegotiate or walk away.

Keep proof of payment and a record of the transaction.
