Whenever possible, test both items in person

For a trade, meeting in person has a particular advantage: both parties can inspect what they are receiving before permanently handing over their own item.

Allow enough time to:

  • identify both products;
  • check serial numbers;
  • verify accessories;
  • test main functions;
  • compare defects with what was disclosed;
  • verify the cash adjustment.

Do not turn the meeting into a rush. If there is not enough time for proper checks, it is better to delay completion.
