Remote trade: consider two shipments, not one

In a remote trade, both items need to travel.

Agree in advance on:

• who ships first or whether both ship at the same time;
• carriers;
• tracking;
• insurance where applicable;
• timing;
• packaging;
• responsibility for delays;
• handling of the cash adjustment.

Do not assume that a process suitable for a simple sale is automatically sufficient for a bilateral trade.
