Photograph defects, not only the best-looking areas
If you disclose a scratch, dent, damaged component or other significant mark, try to show it clearly.
Use at least:
- one image showing where it is located on the item;
- a close-up when needed to understand its extent.
Do not use lighting, angles or filters with the aim of making a defect disappear.
Openly showing a flaw does not necessarily weaken the listing. It can increase trust by allowing the buyer to assess it independently.
