How to decline an offer
Decline a specific proposal from its details without changing the listing or confusing a decline with blocking.
If a received proposal is not suitable, you can decline it without changing the listing price.
- open My offers or the received-offers area;
- select the proposal;
- review the amount and listing again;
- use the decline action;
- check the updated offer status.
Declining affects that specific proposal. It does not mean blocking the user, deleting the listing or automatically closing a conversation.
If you want to respond with a different amount instead of simply declining, use the counteroffer function where available. For problematic behaviour, spam or inappropriate content, use the dedicated blocking and reporting procedures instead.
