Document the serial number and identifying details
Always keep a readable photo of the serial number or other available identifying marks.
In the public listing, you can decide whether to show the entire serial number or obscure part of it depending on the context and type of product.
Other useful identifying images may include:
- model plate;
- labels;
- rear panel;
- front and back of the headstock;
- component markings;
- version-specific characteristics.
These images are particularly useful when several very similar versions exist.
