Phrases such as “serious seller”, “no time wasters” or “trust me” do not help verify the item.

Credibility mainly comes from:

• accurate identification;
• real photos;
• disclosed defects;
• consistent information;
• clear terms;
• verifiable details.

The better documented a listing is, the less it needs to describe itself as “trustworthy”.
