Check that the seller, photos and story are consistent

During the conversation, compare what the seller says with what you can actually observe.

For example:

  • does the stated model match the visible panel, logo and components?
  • do the described defects appear in the photographs?
  • are the stated accessories actually shown?
  • is the claimed year compatible with the serial number and version?
  • do the terms of the sale remain stable during the negotiation?

Small inaccuracies can be normal. The concern is a pattern of inconsistencies involving important details.

If something does not add up, ask for clarification before discussing payment. A verifiable answer is more useful than a generic reassurance.
