Quick-sale pricing: how much should you reduce?
"I want to sell it immediately" does not imply one fixed percentage discount.
For a highly liquid product, pricing slightly below the most credible comparables may be enough. For a niche, expensive or difficult-to-ship item, a larger incentive may be required to find the right buyer quickly.
Look at the lower end of realistic offers and, where available, completed-sale prices. Do not use faulty, incomplete or different-version items as direct benchmarks.
Sale speed is part of the pricing decision: the less time you are willing to give the market, the more attractive the offer usually needs to be.
