Pedals and effects: use correct power and inspect connectors

Many avoidable failures begin with unsuitable power supplies or cabling.

Verify voltage, polarity, power type and available current against the equipment specifications. Check that the connector is not loose and that the cable is not repeatedly bent close to the plug.

On a pedalboard, labelling power connections and outputs reduces mistakes during quick setups.
