Original packaging is useful, but not automatically sufficient
Original packaging is often well shaped for the product, but it may have lost rigidity or internal pieces after years of use.
Inspect the cardboard, inserts, spacers and closures. If the item moves or the outer walls are weak, add a suitable outer box.
Original packaging can improve convenience and perceived completeness, but a manufacturer’s logo on the box does not guarantee that the package is still safe for transport.
