How to manage message notifications

When you receive a new message, Muviber can highlight the conversation as unread and indicate that it needs your attention.

To change the available notification channels, use your profile's notification settings. General notification preferences are managed under Profile and personal settings; this article refers specifically to alerts related to messages.

Remember that the unread indicator depends on the conversation state: opening the chat updates received messages as read.

If you no longer want communications from a specific user or need to report behaviour, use the dedicated features in the Security, blocks and reports section instead.
