A listing is the starting point of a transaction

In the marketplace, a listing contains the information used to present an item to other users.

Title, category, brand, model, condition, description, price, photographs, available methods and other relevant information help the other person understand what is being offered and on what terms.

A listing can then lead to other activities such as saving, contacting, making an offer or buying, depending on the available features.
