Inspect the gear as soon as you receive it

When the gear arrives, avoid postponing the inspection for several days if possible.

Check immediately:

  • external condition of the parcel;
  • whether the item matches the listing;
  • serial number and accessories;
  • any shipping damage;
  • core functions;
  • previously disclosed defects and any new obvious problems.

If the parcel shows significant damage, document it before and during opening where possible.

A prompt inspection creates a clearer record of how the item arrived and which problems were present at delivery.
