How to use search filters
Combine filters progressively and remove overly restrictive ones when no results remain.
Filters reduce a set of results that is already relevant. The available options may vary by category and by the data contained in listings.
You can generally combine several criteria, such as brand, price range, condition or location where available.
To avoid excluding useful listings:
- apply the most important filters first;
- add the others one at a time;
- if you get no results, remove the most restrictive filter;
- always check which filters are active before changing the search.
A filter cannot correct a listing that was classified or completed incompletely. When a search becomes too narrow, broaden it and review nearby results as well.
