Handle requests for extra photos, video and evidence

Reasonable requests for additional evidence are normal, especially for remote purchases.

Depending on the product, you may provide:

  • close-up photos of a defect;
  • serial number or identification plate;
  • power-on video;
  • a short demonstration of a control;
  • details of connections, frets, speakers or components.

Create material that answers a specific question. You do not need to produce repeated generic videos if the listing is already well documented.

Keep a copy of important material shared during the conversation, especially when it shows the condition or functionality of the item before the sale.
