Answer questions with verifiable information

When a buyer asks a technical question, answer with what you know and separate factual information from personal impressions.

If they ask about weight, measurements, serial number, defects or functionality, verify the information before replying whenever possible. If you do not know something, saying so is better than guessing.

Avoid contradictions between the listing and your messages. If the conversation reveals an important detail that was missing from the original listing, disclose it and consider updating the listing as well.

An effective sales conversation is not about convincing everyone. It is about giving a potential buyer enough reliable information to assess the item correctly.
