The Schecter Custom Shop Traditional Wembley Nick Johnston Orange is a high-end electric guitar built by Schecter Guitars in their Custom Shop. It was developed in collaboration with guitarist and composer Nick Johnston, known for his virtuosic style that blends rock, blues and jazz. The Wembley series reflects the attention to detail and craftsmanship that define Schecter’s Custom Shop.

Here are some of the typical features of this model:

  • Body: made of alder, known for its balanced tonal qualities, good resonance and defined attack. The Orange colour is a distinctive, eye-catching finish that recalls a vintage aesthetic.

  • Neck: usually maple, which provides brightness and stability. In general, the neck has a slim C or D profile, making fast and precise playing easier.

  • Fingerboard: can be ebony or rosewood, with a flatter radius to facilitate bends and fast phrasing. The exact configuration may vary depending on Nick Johnston’s preferences.

  • Electronics: typically equipped with custom single-coil pickups designed to deliver a rich, crystal-clear tone that works well across a wide range of genres, with particular emphasis on solo and lead sounds.

  • Bridge: most often a vintage-style tremolo or a modern version of it, providing stability when using vibrato without compromising tuning.

  • Hardware: nickel or chrome-plated, built to last and to ensure reliability both in the studio and live.
