Il Super Distortion S offre le performance del famoso humbucker Super Distortion in un formato Strat single coil. Dimarzio ha creato la stessa miscela di potenza ed il timbro che hanno reso il Super Distortion uno standard mondiale per gli humbucker high-output. E' stato anche ottimizzato il suono per tenere conto del fatto che il Super Distortion S verrà installato nella classica posizione inclinata al ponte. Questo modello ha un cablaggio a 4 conduttori per le modalità humbucking in parallelo ed una modalità split-coil, ed è una combinazione eccezionale con un Pro Track, The Chopper oppure con un Fast Track 1.
